Just My Portfolio "Samples and Examples".
I've been a musician/songwriter for long enough to know a "Memorable Melody"
when I hear one. Sometimes a melody comes to me that I can't get out of
my head. How to use those melodies in a commercial application is the quest, and
Game Themes and 'Dittys' seems like a good place to me.

(2010) "Pirate's Prize"© -Game Theme
PiratesPrizeTheme.mov
This is the "full" version of this theme, including tubas. The original was much
more simplified, like a real ship's crew might sound- thudding bass drum,
tambourine, pipe whistle, and accordian only.

(2010) "Orchestral Musings"
OrchMusings.mov
A melody that haunted me for years. I have no idea what I'll use this piece for.

(2006) "Skwooodgy"© -Game Theme
skwooodgy.mov
Early MIDI experiment. This piece sounds very natural when looped.

(2006) La "Tropicalé"© -Game Theme
La Tropicalé.mov
Arriba! MIDI all the way. Loops very nicely.

(2008) "Fifties B/W Cops"©
pomtheme1
The full 59 second version. This tune was to be played when the
machine was in "attract" mode. Inspired by 1950's and 1960's television detective
dramas. Catchy. |

(2008) 3 Transitional Themes
3-transitions
From skill-redemption games to slot machines, these "transitional phrases"
compliment the main "B/W Cops" theme. For wins, bonuses, etc.
